Earlier this month, Principle Networks announced the launch of a major wireless transformation project with Buzz Bingo.
Over the next five years, the project will be managed together by Principle Networks and Buzz Bingo IT staff, and it will see the introduction of Cisco Meraki wireless access points at Buzz Bingo’s clubs.
The access points are enterprise-graded and cloud-managed, and they are designed to connect Internet of Things (IoT) devices and security solutions. It is expected that they will enable Buzz Bingo to provide customers with a number of new services and enhanced experiences at its clubs. Principle Networks said that the project will drive “an ambitious technology transformation” at the clubs that will enhance the customer experience.
David Cutts, the Chief Technology Officer at Buzz Bingo, added:
“A key part of our growth will be driven by enhancing customer experiences through investments in our clubs and the latest technologies. The concept of bingo has evolved. Today, customers have a wide range of choices of how they want to play — and our omnichannel approach is unique — with technology sitting at the heart. Principle Networks demonstrated a deep understanding of our objectives and have the expertise required to deliver them. We’re excited about this partnership’s possibilities and look forward to working with the team.”
The co-founder of Principle Networks, Russell Crowley, spoke of the company’s pride in the new partnership:
“A secure and reliable network infrastructure is central to delivering the best possible customer experience, whether online or in a club. As the UK’s biggest bingo operator, Buzz Bingo is continually looking for innovative ways to enhance its offering, and we’re very proud to have been chosen as its IT partner for the next five years.”
This ambitious technology investment comes at a time of significant change for Buzz. This is all happening against the backdrop of the recent permanent closure of Buzz Bingo Worthington, highlighting the operator’s focus on digital transformation and customer experience despite industry challenges.
Principle Networks was established in 2018, and it is a UK-based managed service provider (MSP) that specialises in transformative network and security solutions for enterprises. It has its headquarters in the heart of London, and the company has rapidly positioned itself as a modern MSP that specialises in innovative services designed from the ground up.
Principle Networks offers a range of services designed to meet the needs of modern businesses:
The company works to challenge traditional MSP models through specialisation, flexibility, and customer empowerment: this means that it is focused on delivering high-quality products through its in-depth knowledge. Principle Networks says that it rejects a one-size-fits-all approach and instead, the company designs solutions tailored to each client’s unique requirements. Furthermore, by avoiding legacy systems, the company is able to quickly adapt to industry changes and embrace new technologies and methodologies to meet clients’ needs.
While there are not yet specific details about what Principle Networks will provide Buzz Bingo, visitors can expect more reliable and faster Wi-Fi connections throughout the clubs. Cisco Meraki access points are designed for high-density environments and deliver reliable connectivity even during peak times.
Furthermore, the deployment includes advanced security features to protect user data. With integrated intrusion detection and prevention systems, the network can identify and mitigate potential threats in real time, which will provide a safer online environment.
The upgraded network infrastructure will also enable Buzz Bingo to introduce new services that enhance the in-club experience. This could include interactive gaming options, personalised promotions, and better integration with Buzz Bingo’s online offerings.
