The Chase, one of the UK’s most popular daytime TV quiz shows, has long been sponsored by Entain-owned Gala Bingo one of the biggest online bingo sites. Now, the collaboration between the two has been taken to the next level with the launch of The Chase Place. This brand-new online hub brings together the two much-loved activities of bingo and quizzing.

The new section on the Gala Bingo website is a celebration of the long-standing sponsorship of the game show, now in its eighth year. The Gala Bingo, in collaboration with Тhe Chase, offers to its members exclusive games and content at Тhe Chase Place, including slots, Slingo, bingo and new live games, all themed around the TV game.

Speaking about the launch, Sara Jolly, Gala Bingo’s head of brand, said:

“We believe fans of The Chase will also enjoy Gala Bingo. The new ‘The Chase Place’ allows us to reach a broad UK audience and offer unique experiences for show enthusiasts that can’t be found elsewhere. We’re thrilled to collaborate with ITV to bring this partnership to life.”

Steve Watling, the SVP Gaming at ITV Studios global partnerships, also welcomed the launch:

“ITV’s collaboration with Gala Bingo, Entain, and The Chase has been consistently successful. We’re excited about the new Chase Live game and Gala’s dedicated site at The Chase Place, offering players a chance to win fantastic The Chase-themed prizes. The Chase is on!”

The Chase Place Competition

Excitingly, there is also a special competition, running for three weeks this month, which offers players the chance to win unique The Chase-themed prizes.

The competition features a ‘crack the code’ challenge where videos of well-known Chasers will appear on a dedicated page. Mimicking The Chase format, users will face multiple-choice general knowledge questions. Their answers will form a unique code; if correct, this code enters them into the prize draw for the chance to win exclusive prizes. Each week, new questions will become available, so players have multiple chances to take part and win.

The top prize includes an exclusive, all-expenses-paid studio tour of The Chase, complete with a meet and greet with a Chaser. The runner-up will have a Chaser join their quiz team at the’ Gala Bingo x The Chase Ultimate Quiz Night’ event in Manchester this August. Other prizes on offer include Gala rewards, such as bingo tickets and free spins.

Gala Bingo is promoting this competition and its exclusive prizes across various platforms, including digital and print media. The campaign will culminate in a live PR event, ‘Gala Bingo x The Chase Ultimate Quiz Night’, on August 8 in Manchester. Attendees will have the opportunity to challenge a Chaser, with Anne Hegerty, Mark Labbett, and Jenny Ryan making appearances. The prize winner will have a Chaser on their quiz team, while others can interact with the remaining Chasers.

Several More TV-Themed Games Go Live

As mentioned, a number of new The Chase-themed games are launched at Gala Bingo right now. For instance, there is a The Chase scratch card, a The Chase Fun Drops, and a The Chase Slingo. However, the site has launched a number of other games based on popular ITV shows.

If you’re a fan of Coronation Street, which is the world’s longest-running television soap opera, having first graced out screens in 1960, then you should check out the Coronation St Cash Cobbles game. You’ll come across beloved characters from the show while spinning the reels to try to land yourselves some big wins.

If Emmerdale is more your cup of tea and you prefer the Yorkshire Dales to the streets of Manchester then make sure you try your luck playing Emmerdale Fun Drops. You can enjoy the country air while trying to match symbols and uncover winnings on the farm.

If you enjoy any of these three shows as well as online bingo, then with its themed games and exciting competition, it seems that Gala Bingo is truly the place to be over the coming weeks.
