A woman from Scotland is celebrating after she won a £50K jackpot playing at Club 3000 bingo Clydebank.

The win took place on Monday, October 21, and the player, who has chosen to remain anonymous, is known to be a regular at the Clydebank Club 3000 venue. She was playing with friends when she hit the big prize, which was the first National Bingo Game jackpot of £50,000 to be won at the club. Following the win, David Pearson, Club 3000 Clydebank manager, said:

“We were all so excited to celebrate the win alongside our winner. The atmosphere in the club was electric, everyone was so happy, we can’t wait for the party where they will officially receive the presentation cheque for £50,000. It is even more special as it is the first time that the club has won the National Bingo Big Prize, we love being part of the community in Clydebank and are delighted for our winner.”

Previously, we reported on another Club 3000 player Paul Dunning, who won a £50K National Bingo Game jackpot at a bingo venue in Kilmarnock.

Daily Bingo Games in Clydebank

The Club 3000 Bingo venue in Clydebank is open to players every day of the week. It opens its doors at midday every day, except Sunday when it opens at 11:30 am, and it closes at 11 pm on weekdays and midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The early afternoon session begins at 12:45 pm every day, followed by the main afternoon session at 1:30 pm. In the evening, there is a Cashpot at 6:15 pm, an early evening session at 6:50 pm and then the main evening session at 7:30 pm. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, there is then a late session at 9:15 pm.

It is possible to enter the National Bingo Game in both the afternoon and evening sessions. It costs £1 for 2 tickets or £2 for 5 tickets. There will also be separate club prizes available. Players who call house in 24 calls or less win £100, those who do it in 20 calls or less win £1,000, and those who do it in 16 calls or less, like the bingo player from Clydebank, win the £50,000 top prize.

Growing Bingo Options in Scotland

Club 3000 Bingo appears to be thriving in Scotland and its new Edinburgh venue is due to open before the end of this year. The bingo operator has invested more than £6 million in the new club at Ocean Terminal.

The 27,500 square foot club is located on the ground floor of the shopping centre, making it extremely convenient for players, as it is home to 800 free parking spaces, retail, leisure and dining options, including coffee shops, 24-hour Pure Gym, a 12 screen Vue Cinema, and The Royal Yacht Britannia. The shopping centre also has excellent public transport links.

Speaking about the new venue, Chris Richardson, managing director of Ambassador Investments Ltd, the Scottish owner of Ocean Terminal, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Club 3000 Bingo to Ocean Terminal. Its modern approach to creating an environment for a great night out fits seamlessly with our wider leisure offering and we look forward to the club opening its doors next year. We have ambitious plans for the centre and Club 3000’s long-term commitment to Ocean Terminal is a tremendous seal of approval for what lies ahead.”

There were concerns about the future of the Ocean Terminal shopping centre following the closure of the M&S food retail unit last year, which some described as a ‘death knell’ for the complex.

However, it is undergoing a £100 million redevelopment plan. As part of this, the Debenhams store has been demolished and a northern section of the centre is being bulldozed to make space for a hotel, shops, restaurants, and more.
