Tina Tuckwell pre-bought £10 worth of tickets for a game on one of the most popular online bingo sites in the UK, Buzz Bingo, which took place on Tuesday, April 30. She was out for a meal when the game took place, and she didn’t know she had won the enormous prize until she received a phone call the next day.
Speaking about her win, Tina, from Devizes, said:
“I couldn’t believe it, I was completely gobsmacked and just lost for words. I’d pre-bought tickets for the bingo game beforehand, then my partner and I decided to go out for a meal that evening. I wasn’t actually online when the game was being played so had absolutely no idea I’d won, let alone won the jackpot.”
She explained that she wasn’t sure what she would do with all of the winnings but had already used some to buy a car.
After the impressive bingo win Tina Tuckwell shared the news with her friends and family on stage at her local bingo club, Buzz Bingo Poole. She added:
“I can’t thank the team at Buzz Bingo Poole for the special celebration they organised for me and my family and friends. I will remember it forever, I felt like royalty with all the special treatment.”
Tina won the prize in Buzz Bingo’s monthly £100K Big One game. The games have been taking place for the last few months, but the final one in the series is taking place this month on Friday, June 28, at 10 pm.
The game has a total prize pot of £100,000 with a £75,000 prize for a full house. There is also £2,500 for 1 line, £7,500 for 2 lines, and ten extra Roll On Full House prizes of £1,500 each.
While there may be a few weeks until the next game, it is already to prebuy your tickets as Tina did. The tickets are just 10p each and it is possible for each person to buy up to 100 tickets. In other words, you can’t spend more than £10 on the game and as Tina found out, it can be a truly worthwhile investment.
While the £100K Big One may have the biggest prize pool at Buzz, the site runs a weekly and daily big game as well.
The Weekly Big One has a £15,000 prize pool. It takes place every Friday night at 10 pm and there is a £1,000 1 line prize, a £1,500 2 lines prize, a £10,000 full house prize, and everyone who finishes with 1 or 2 numbers to go will win a share of £2,500.
Amazingly, tickets for this game are just 2p, so you can buy 100 tickets for just £2. It is also possible to prebuy the tickets, so you never need to miss out on a chance to win.
The Daily Big One has a £5,000 prize pool. It takes place every night, Saturday to Thursday, at 10 pm and there is a £500 1 line prize, a £1,000 2 lines prize, a £2,500 full house prize, and the next five full houses win £200 each. Tickets for this game cost 10p each and you can buy up to 100. Once again, you can prebuy your tickets, so you don’t need to be online at 10 pm to find out if you have won.
