Listen to this article:A bingo player in Plymouth celebrating after hitting the jackpot at the local Buzz Bingo club and has said that they intend to use the £12,000 prize to take their son on holiday.
The winner has chosen to remain anonymous, but they are well known at the city’s Charles Cross venue, having been a regular player there for the past 14 years.
After winning the jackpot, the player said, “I feel like jelly, I can’t believe I have won! I thought I’d won the £25 full house, not the £12,000 jackpot!”
The general manager at Buzz Bingo Plymouth, Louise Brennan, was thrilled with the win:
“We couldn’t be happier for our lucky winner and their fantastic win. Everyone was cheering from their seats – it was such an exciting moment. We celebrated on Friday, May 3, at the afternoon main event with the £12,000 free bingo party our winner unlocked.”
Even Buzz Bingo’s chief operating officer COO Stevie Shaves, joined the celebrations, saying:
“The atmosphere in club when there’s a win is always incredible, and we’re delighted to see one of our lucky members win £12,000 on the Our House Jackpot Game at Buzz Bingo Plymouth. Overall Buzz players win more than £2m per week in bingo prize money and we love to celebrate every one of them with our amazing community.”
