Those in Maryland who are a member of the Frederick Elks Lodge are in for a treat this August as the venue is set to host a Hot Summer Bingo event.
Taking place on Saturday, August 17th, it promises bingo, male dancers from Men in Motion, raffles, and more. The event is open to those aged 21 and above, and tickets cost $40 in advance or $50 at the door.
Doors will open at 1 pm with the bingo taking place from 2 pm and the dancers coming to entertain at 5:30 pm.
As mentioned, the entertainment will be provided by Men in Motion, which describes itself as “the USA’s #1 source for upscale adult entertainment for women.” The group has given thousands of performances over the years and is made up of “handsome, healthy, talented young professional men between the ages of 18 and 35.”
No details have been released about which of the acts they will bring to this bingo event, but they offer a variety of themed shows, including Elvis, Austin Powers, and even gorilla costumes. The shows are described as “interactive experiences” and before they begin, the emcee will choose a few lucky members of the audience to join the men on stage.
The Elks, more properly known as the Order of the Elks or the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, is a fraternal organisation active across the US. Founded in 1868, it aims to promote the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity.
Through its activities and events, the Elks aim to support the wider community through youth programmes, scholarships, fundraising, and volunteer work. All proceeds from the Hot Summer Bingo event will go to the Frederick Elk’s house committee, who donate to hospice, SHIP, ENF, and veteran’s organisations.
