The popular Foxy Bingo opened Xtreme Line Dancing studio temporarily in Birmingham as part of its “Get Your Fox On” campaign over the weekend of 20 July at The Engine Room in Digbeth.
Over the course of the weekend, Foxy Bingo hosted a number of free 45-minute fitness classes during which participants could enjoy a country music-themed workout. The sessions were led by the fitness instructors and attendees could enjoy a lively atmosphere that kept everyone moving.
Speaking about the event, Sara Jolly, Head of Foxy Bingo, said:
“We are so excited to launch our Xtreme Line Dancing Studio in Birmingham this summer. At Foxy Bingo we always encourage our players to Get Their Fox On, which is what this activation is all about, bringing the Foxy party in full ‘Hairy Moedown’ fashion. The Xtreme Line Dancing Studio perfectly captures the bizarre, fun and untamed spirit of Foxy Bingo, allowing us to really stand out from other brands in the Bingo Sphere.”
Upon arrival at the venue, participants were directed to gym lockers that were stuffed with country music merchandise, such as free hats and fringes, which could be kept after the session and help to set the mood. They were then taught the ‘Moedown’ and received some more Foxy Bingo merchandise before being invited to enjoy free juice shots in the studio’s bar to keep the party going a little longer.
At present, there are no plans to bring the event back, but the five sessions held over the weekend were extremely well attended, suggesting that enthusiasts of online bingo are eager to join the fun and dance.
Foxy’s Xtreme Line Dancing Studio came just a few weeks after Mecca Bingo ran free line dancing workouts earlier this year, capitalising on the ‘Cowboy Core’ trend in the UK.
Unfortunately, not all of us were lucky enough to enjoy the Xtreme Line Dancing Studio in Birmingham. However, there is still plenty on offer from Foxy Bingo that everyone can enjoy from the comfort of their own home.
