If you live in Derbyshire and have always wanted to experience the madness that is Bongo’s Bingo, then you are in luck. Bongo’s Bingo will be making its long-awaited Derbyshire debut on Saturday, 10 May, with an unmissable night of music, mayhem and unexpected moments at the Becketwell Live venue in Derby city centre.
Bongo’s Bingo has spent the last decade transforming the traditional game of bingo into a full-blown night out. You can expect rave rounds, en-masse karaoke, dance-offs, nostalgic anthems, and outlandish prizes such as giant pink unicorns and Henry Hoovers.
Since launching in Liverpool in 2015, Bongo’s Bingo has sold millions of tickets and built a loyal fanbase across the UK and beyond. Shows now take place in more than 40 locations and the events regularly draw huge crowds with their high-energy mixture of party vibes and nostalgic fun. From birthday celebrations to those looking for a night out with a difference, Bongo’s Bingo has become a go-to event for those looking for a fun alternative to online bingo sites.
Speaking about the upcoming event in Derby, the co-founder and original host Jonny Bongo said:
We’ve got lots of new destinations for Bongo’s Bingo on our radar in 2025 and Derby is the latest as we enter our 10th anniversary year. We can’t wait to bring the magic and mayhem in May and get the summer really started and I’ve got a sneaking suspicion it’s going to go off big time. We love bringing Bongo’s Bingo to new locations and Derby is going to be absolutely class. It’s a fantastic venue to be in and we can’t wait to get started.”
The Derby launch promises to be a big one, with Becketwell Live providing the perfect setting for Bongo’s trademark mix of chaos and charm. Doors open at 6.00 pm, with the show kicking off at 8.00 pm.
You can find tickets here, they are currently on sale and cost just £16. However, they are selling fast, so be sure to buy yours soon.
If you can’t make the event on Saturday, 10 May, then don’t worry. Bongo’s Bingo will be back in Derby in June for a ‘90s Special, which looks set to be an unmissable night.
